By default, assistants prepare the cart and send shoppers to your existing storefront checkout. Customers review their cart and pay with the theme, payment methods and customizations you already use.

Frequently asked questions

What does AgentCommerce actually do?

It lets compatible assistants answer shopping questions from your real Magento catalog, store policies and promotions. Pro adds trusted cart actions and approved access to a shopper's own account, orders and deliveries. By default, payment stays on your storefront.

Is AgentCommerce free?

The base module is free and uses a locally checked registration key; a valid Pro licence also covers Free registration, while a free key does not provide Pro features. After your free order is fulfilled, open My Plugins on moogento.com and choose Generate registration key. Your Composer access keys are available in the same account area.

Do assistants find my store automatically?

AgentCommerce does not list your store in assistant directories automatically. With Pro, Connect My Agent gives shoppers one connector for participating stores, and merchant onboarding makes your store link available. Your store must be reachable and configured for the connection; directory listing requires a separate submission to that service.

Does it work with ChatGPT and Claude?

The ChatGPT app is in private preview and requires access. Shoppers can also connect Claude where custom connectors are available. The Pro Shop with AI page shows connection steps and QR codes for both. Compatible assistants can read your public catalog, and Pro with Connect My Agent adds the shopper account flow where the connector is available. Hosted assistants need public HTTPS, and workspace policies can affect which connectors shoppers can add.

What can shoppers buy through ChatGPT?

The ChatGPT connection builds carts for physical goods. Virtual products, downloads, gift cards and mixed product sets are information only, without prices, purchase links or cart actions. Goods are checked again before cart submission; your Magento catalog remains the source of product facts.

Is my catalog open to every assistant?

The free module supports public catalog questions. With Pro you can require registered integrations for all requests, or keep product discovery open while protecting account and cart actions. Catalog exclusions apply in either mode.

Can the assistant take payment in chat?

AgentCommerce does not process card payments in chat. Direct integrations can optionally place eligible Check/Money Order orders when Allow checkout completion via AgentCommerce is set to Yes and Force escalation for payment step is set to No. The default flow and the ChatGPT shopper connection use storefront checkout.

Is the checkout link really single-use?

A guest-cart handoff link works once and expires after 10 minutes. Whoever opens it first receives that cart, so the link is meant for the shopper it was sent to. Connected shoppers use their own account cart and the normal storefront checkout URL.

Can I run ChatGPT Ads from my Magento admin?

Yes, AgentCommerce Pro connects your ChatGPT Ads account, sends your catalogue as a product feed and lets you create, launch and pause campaigns from AgentCommerce > Ads. You need an approved ChatGPT Ads account and an Ads API key from Ads Manager, because AgentCommerce cannot create the account for you. The ads jobs run on your Magento cron.

Why is return on ad spend missing from my ads report?

Return on ad spend is hidden when your ChatGPT Ads account and your store use different currencies. AgentCommerce never converts between currencies, so spend, clicks and both revenue figures still show. In Pulse, spend in another currency is kept but left out of ROI.

Why are some products missing from my ChatGPT Ads feed?

Products need a brand, an image and a price before AgentCommerce sends them to ChatGPT Ads. Add the missing details in Magento, then click Sync now or wait for the next update. Variants are sent but do not appear in the campaign product preview.

Can shoppers reorder from a past order?

With Pro and shopper approval, assistants can add eligible items from that shopper's own past order to their current cart. Magento checks current prices, availability and selected options, and reports items that cannot be reordered. Payment stays on your checkout.

Do I need SmartCart for add-on suggestions?

Pro can suggest products from Magento's catalog relationships without SmartCart. SmartCart offers require SmartCart to be installed, enabled and licensed, with a version that supports assistant recommendations. You can switch these suggestions off in the Integrations settings, and shoppers can turn them off in My Account.

Do I need TrackEasy for delivery answers?

Pro can return carrier tracking links without TrackEasy. Richer parcel journeys, the delivery timeline and the products your tracking page recommends require TrackEasy to be installed, enabled and licensed, with a version that supports assistant delivery reads.

Can shoppers disconnect an assistant?

Shoppers can disconnect an assistant from My Account > Connected assistants, which shows permissions and when the connection was used. Disconnection takes effect immediately, and existing connections remain manageable if connections or Pro are disabled. Unused links expire after 90 days by default.

Does it work with Hyva, Luma and Porto?

The shopper consent and Connected assistants forms use server-rendered markup. Consent and error pages have been rendered on Luma, Porto and Hyva, and the account flow has been checked in a browser. Check the storefront handoff with your own checkout customizations.

How do I install it?

Install with Composer, then follow the Setup Wizard. The steps are in the user guide.
