What does it mean to export an order?

In Magento it stores all details about an order: the customer that made the purchase, the delivery address & tracking details, which items were bought. This info is useful for a range of things – eg. you can use ExportEasy to instantly send order details to your warehouse. Export a filtered list for a specific supplier. Or make a monthly report for accounting.

How does exporting orders work?

There’s two systems with ExportEasy:
1) Manually select orders in the Orders page, select your custom ExportEasy template, then click Export; a csv file with the data will be created & downloaded automaatically.
2) Setup automatic exports using a remote api connection. ExportEasy will send the data as it happens.

How do I export orders in Magento 2?

With the base Magento setup, it’s not simple to get the data you need in a useful format. ExportEasy makes this a 1-click (or no-click) process.

Can we export details from a single order?

Absolutely – just select the order & click Export.

Can we export the orders data based on the date?

Just filter the Orders by date, ‘select all’, then Export.

How do I get sales order data in Magento 2?

Simple – select the orders you want, in the Magento 2 admin panel (Orders), then click export 🙂

So I can export orders from Magento?

Yes, with or without order item details (product names etc), using customised templates.

Can I also export orders placed by a specific customer?

Sure, just filter orders by customer, you’ll then see a list of orders from that customer, select all, export. It’ll then export only orders from that customer. This extension is very easy to get whatever data you want, from whatever orders you want to export.

Does it allow store admins to export a specific order number?

You’re free to export whatever you want – just select the order, click export. Boom, the order will be exported 🙂

How many export profiles can we make?

You can create an unlimited number of export profiles. Depending on your plan you can select from those to be available for use in Orders.
