Is ProfitEasy accurate?
Yes – way more than guesstimates made by looking at each order and trying to mentally calculate the costs.
So can I use this for accounting?
ProfitEasy can help to show areas you might want to focus on with your accountant or business.

But, ProfitEasy isn’t intended as a replacement for good book-keeping or hiring an accountant.

How about different per-category costs?

Costing is done based on the product cost attribute and custom payment attributes. You can also add custom costs per order. If you need a specific cost added per category, get in touch and we’ll be happy to make it.

How do you calculate profit per order?

This is calculated by subtracting all associated costs, including product, shipping, handling, payment processing fees, and any other specified expenses, from the total revenue of the order. ProfitEasy does this automatically, based on the customisable settings you’ve made.

How do you calculate profit per day?

This is calculated by summing the profits from all individual orders processed on that specific day, taking into account all associated costs and revenues. You can see this in the dashboard display (which also shows 7 days & 30 days totals).

What is the formula for monthly profit?

Monthly profit is calculated by summing the profits from all individual orders processed within the month, subtracting all associated monthly costs such as salaries, rent, and other recurring expenses from the total monthly revenue.

ProfitEasy allows you to add ‘costs per time period’, which can also be for specific months. That means you can add in your rental costs, salaries etc. to get a more accurate overview of net profit.

How about Amazon charges?
Amazon won’t let you know what your actual costs were until about a month after the order completes.

You can set an average store-specific cost based on historical averages.

Is billing easy?
Yes! This Magento extension is billed monthly or annually. If cancelled it will continue to work until the end of your paid period.
