Orders are assigned to Pickers (manually or via a smart auto-assign feature).

The Picker gets the new order details in their personal dashboard to then go and pick the products in the warehouse. Pick-n-Scan directs them in an optimal route.

When complete, the Packer scans picked items into the shipping box, scanning shipping carrier tracking where needed.

Pick-n-Scan marks the order status in Orders for managers to keep track of, in the Picker & Packer personal dashboard, and in the overview Stats page. Upon order completion the customer is emailed with details.

Pick orders

Your crew can pick items from the shelves into the picking trolley. The picker will be directed in an optimal route, shown an image of the item to pick, along with the location and any other needed attributes. Once the scan has verified the correct product barcode, it shows as Picked.

Once complete, the picker can then leave the trolley for the packer, or continue to pack the items into a shipping box.

Pick-n-Scan is designed to work well with either just-picking, just-packing, or both picking and packing. Whatever simple steps work for you, this is a system with functionality ready to scan pick pack ship.

Pack orders

Once items have been picked from the shelves, they’re then ready to be packed into shipping boxes.

This time the packer can scan any item in any sort order, from the order that they’re packing, and pack items right away. Pick-n-Scan will tick them off the list until they’re all scanned.

Alternatively you could use the system to digitally pick items, then use a printed packing slip to pack into a shipping box. Both ways work with PickPack’s integrated label feature, so the shipping label is right there ready to ship (it also uses barcodes for easy status-changing after packing).

TrolleyBox for multi-order processing

Add-on TrolleyBox to be able to pick multiple orders at the same time. Admin users can create batches to mark orders for specific users to process.

This works especially well if you’re selling small-volume items.

You can see orders in the batch, add the products from the combination (with whatever picking methods work for you), and see the order detail.
