Add a time limit to checkout

The idea of a post-purchase offer is not to affect the checkout process. That's great but we also don't want to add to your warehouse packing overhead.

So you can set an optional time limit to complete the additional purchase (default 1 hour). This is separate to any countdown with the offers (which is a countdown to add the product to the cart).

This separate countdown shows in the cart & checkout pages, ie. encouraging a speedy checkout, to help your warehouse crew pack the orders together if it makes sense to do so.

Free shipping with a time limit

The aim of these promo sections is to get a quick sale. Your customer has just bought something so we know they're in the buying frame of mind.

We want to remove as many potential blockers as possible, to make the decision an easy one.

So we added the option of free shipping, via a new automatic shipping method (that self-removes after the time-limit).

Set a minimum final price

If you sell bundle or low-price items, you often don't want to receive new orders for just a $1 item.

ThanksEasy allows you to set a fixed quantity multiplier to ensure the total offer price meets a minimum, creating on-the-fly bundles.

You can also select products where the single price meets or exceeds the minimum final price, ensuring profitable follow-on orders.

Set the offer discount

Set either a % or a fixed value discount.

So if you set eg. 10% then if a product offered for the special is $10, it'll be offered at $9.

Experiment with this to find the sweet spot - it'll likely be a different amount for the popup offer vs. the in-page offers.

Limit per customer

You can set an option so each customer is only shown specials once a day.

This helps avoid people self-training to buy a cheap item and wait for the special.

Of course maybe this works for your store by driving 'secret deal' customers!

Set the countdown timer to 'add to cart' and a separate one showing the 'time remaining to checkout with free shipping'.
